The Philippines is all set to host the 45th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026, one of the most important tourism events in Southeast Asia. The prestigious forum will take place in Mactan, Cebu, from 27 January to 4 February 2026, bringing together key players from the global and regional travel industry.
As the host country, the Philippines will welcome ASEAN Tourism Ministers, National Tourism Organisations (NTOs), senior government officials, tourism stakeholders, international buyers, exhibitors, and media representatives. ATF 2026 continues its long-standing mission of promoting ASEAN as a single, unified tourism destination, highlighting collaboration, connectivity, and sustainable tourism development across the region.
A major highlight of the event is ATF TRAVEX 2026, the travel trade exhibition component of the forum. This flagship event will showcase the diversity, resilience, and competitiveness of ASEAN’s tourism offerings, with exhibitors from all ASEAN Member States engaging directly with hosted buyers and international media.
The three-day TRAVEX exhibition, scheduled from 28 to 30 January 2026, will feature:
Delegates attending ATF TRAVEX 2026 can also look forward to immersive travel experiences across the Philippines. The programme includes five pre-show tours and eight post-show tours, offering participants the chance to explore the country’s rich tourism assets — from pristine beaches and island resorts to heritage landmarks and vibrant cultural destinations.
TTG Asia Media, renowned for delivering high-quality business events, has been appointed as the Official TRAVEX Secretariat for ATF Philippines 2026. The organisation brings extensive experience from previous editions of TRAVEX, ensuring a seamless and impactful event.
“ATF TRAVEX continues to be a vital platform for building connections and driving growth across ASEAN,” said Mr Darren Ng, Managing Director of TTG Asia Media. “We are proud to serve as the official TRAVEX Secretariat for ATF Philippines and look forward to an inspiring and productive edition that showcases the true spirit of ASEAN tourism.”
To encourage cultural exchange and strengthen regional ties, the host country has prepared a vibrant line-up of social events, including:
These events will give delegates a firsthand experience of the warmth, hospitality, and cultural richness of the Filipino spirit.
Beyond business networking, ATF 2026 will also feature the ASEAN Tourism Conference, a high-level platform for public and private sector leaders to discuss emerging tourism trends, challenges, and opportunities. The conference aims to inspire innovative, inclusive, and sustainable tourism strategies across the ASEAN region.
With preparations well underway, ATF 2026 in Mactan, Cebu promises to be a landmark event — a celebration of connection, collaboration, and creativity, where ASEAN’s boundless horizons converge to shape a brighter future for regional tourism.
The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is a cooperative regional initiative aimed at promoting the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as a single tourism destination. ATF TRAVEX is the longest-running annual ASEAN leisure travel trade event, featuring the largest gathering of ASEAN tourism sellers.
The forum involves all tourism industry sectors from the 11 ASEAN Member Nations: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
Hosted on a rotational basis among member countries, ATF 2026 marks the 45th anniversary of the forum since its inauguration in Malaysia in 1981, with the Philippines proudly hosting the milestone edition.
