Go City Explorer Pass Los Angeles

One of my favorite destinations is Los Angeles. I managed to get there last year and I enjoyed every moment spent there.

Before I arrived, I made a “must-see” list. But there are so many things that I couldn’t visit them all, so I was left with a short list after “cutting” many of them with a heavy heart. First of all, I wanted to see the attractions in Hollywood, including the Warner Bros studios.

When I was looking for details about the best price, I found the Go City Explorer Pass with 3 attractions. They have options of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7 attractions.

It has a very good price and the card can be used within 60 days of activating it. You have a multitude of things and places included, in several categories:

  • • Warner Bros. Hollywood Studio Tour
  • • Madame Tussauds
  • • LA Zoo
  • • K1 Speed Indoor Karting
  • • Aquarium of the Pacific

*Please note that some attractions require reservations such as Warner Bros.

Activities and tours

• Big Bus LA 1-day Classic Ticket • Big Bus Celebrity Lifestyle and Homes Tour • Dolby Theater Guided Tour • Hollywood Behind the Scenes Tour – Red Line • LA Galaxy game ticket • Malibu Celebrity Homes Tour – Starline • Night Star Tour • Hollywood Hills Hike • Perry’s Beach Café and Rentals – Mountain Bike or Roller-Skates (All Day) • Celebrity Bike Tour (self-guided) by Bikes & Hikes LA • Harbor Cruise in Long Beach • Harbor Cruise in San Pedro • Whale Watch (Long Beach ) • TCL Chinese Theaters Guided Tour • Food, Arts, Culture DTLA Walking Tour

Museum visits are also included

  • Natural History Museum
  • Grammy Museum
  • The Brea Tar Pits
  • Battleship IOWA Museum
  • Huntington Library,
  • Art Collection and Botanical Garden
  • # 3DAR Trick Art Museum

There is an all inclusive pass, for 1 day at the price of $ 99, for 2 days at $ 149, for 3 days $ 229, for 5 days it is $ 310 and for 7 days it is $ 359, during which you can see any attractions, as long as you have time. It saves a lot of money. As I told you, I chose the Explorer with 3 attractions and went to Warner Bros, Madame Tussauds and a tour of the Dolby Theater. I paid $ 103, normally if I paid separately for each of them it would have cost me about $ 130, so I saved a good amount.

But let me tell you a little bit about the attractions I saw.

Warner Bros

For the famous movie studios, you must make a reservation here by phone. The tours only run from Thursday to Monday in autumn, winter, spring: 14:00 – 15:30. Each tour has a different route because you can’t always visit the same studios, depending on the filming of that day. We were lucky because they took us to see the studios of the famous show Ellen. I saw where she is preparing for shows, some outfits, interesting sets. I also really liked the fact that I sat on the couch of the Friends series. I’m an avid fan. I also liked the part where the guide allowed us to step into movies with recreated sets from the DC Universe, where we met the superheroes. Then the magical world of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. The WB tour was the best attraction of my time in LA (including being a member of the audience on some live recordings). I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a behind-the-scenes look at TV shows and movies. You will not be disappointed with their 5 star services!

Madame Tussauds

I met with my favorite stars, we took a lot of selfies and we had fun. Nowhere else can you jump right on set with over 125 of your favorite stars, save the day in 4-D with Marvel superheroes, escape in other worlds in the Virtual Camera and “die” for the perfect selfie at the NEW Illusions of Horror. I think this is something that must be visited at least once. If you’ve been to a wax museum, you’ve seen it all.

Dolby Theater

It’s the place I wanted to go in to see where the most famous actors have stepped over time. Here you have to make a reservation because it is a guided tour and it does not run daily. The tour lasts 30 minutes and you will see the Oscars awards so desired by the actors, the famous locations you see on TV at the Oscar Gala, images from previous editions and the fabulous theater. We had to get on the stage (!!) and we were photographed while we were there. We also sat on the benches next to the stars (cardboard pictures anyway) and toured the backstage areas, the elevator, the balconies, etc. I heard the history and some interesting anecdotes. The tour was interesting and from now on I will look at the Oscar Gala differently.

If you arrive in Los Angeles I recommend that you take the appropriate Go City pass depending on how long you stay. You save a lot of money and you can see impressive places. I will be going to New York City this year and I intend to use the same method to visit as many places as possible. This Time, I will buy a Go City All inclusive.
