You don’t have to go to Montana or Vermont, not even Switzerland, to find a place that seems torn from heaven. Because to the question “how many times did you have to cross a stream by car (not on a bridge but through it) to get to a pension”? you will only answer if you have been to the Vălișoara holiday home.

Romania has such beautiful places and too little known that maybe we should be grateful to this pandemic that almost “forced” us to discover them. Beautiful people who managed to make real jewelry in the middle of nature, beautiful locations that welcome their guests with pleasure. The place where besides relaxation, you can go climbing, cycling, paragliding, nature trails but also swimming in the tub when it’s cold outside or in summer when it’s hot, in the pool, outdoor barbeque or just enjoy a cup of  tea in front of the fireplace.

The 4 accommodation structures are waiting for you to spend time with your loved ones, in a secluded setting, an oasis of silence, which will conquer you as soon as you arrive. Because the area is absolutely fabulous, full of tourist attractions, a vacation here can be both relaxing and active.

From the spaces described below, you should know that you can stay in “La Ionică” Chalet all year round and in the other three only from March 1 until December 1st. On the winter holidays, however, the hosts receive guests in all four villas.

Where do you stay in Valisoara?

Holiday home Valisoara – for 6 persons + 2 additional places has the following facilities:

• Ground floor: Dining room, Fireplace, Fully equipped kitchenette, Bathroom with shower, Covered terrace with grill
• Attic: Three bedrooms with double beds, Sofa bed, Toilet, Covered balcony
• Yard: Barbeque and kettle, Swing, common salt water tub

Studio 1 – for 2 people + 2 extra places – Independent house with air conditioning

• Inside: double room, sofa bed, equipped kitchenette, dining area, bathroom with shower
• Outside: Covered terrace, Gazebo, Grill, Sun loungers and parasols (summer)

Studio 2 – for 2 people + 2 extra places – Independent house with air conditioning

• Inside: twin bed (s), folding chair, equipped kitchenette, dining area, bathroom with shower
• Outside: Covered terrace, Gazebo, Grill, Sun loungers and parasols (summer)

“La Ionică” Chalet – for 2 people + 4 additional places in a dormitory in the attic

• Ground floor: Living room with dining area, Sleeping area – 1 double bed, Equipped kitchen, Bathroom with shower, Covered terrace
• Attic: Bedroom with 4 extra beds, Covered balcony
• Yard: Salt water tub, Gazebo, Barbeque area, Cauldron

It is basically a complex consisting of four villas, independent of each other, however with spaces that offer both privacy and the opportunity to spend time with those staying in another space.

Landmarks in the area

Valisoara holiday house does not only offer relaxation within the location and it would be a shame not to go out to visit the tourist attractions in the area. It is your choice to visit a natural wonder such as the Turda salt mine, a 300-year-old church or a 13th-century fortress.
