Top 5 Weird & Wonderful in America

America is home to a wide variety of tourist attractions, some of which are fascinatingly wacky. We’ve put together a collection of 5 bizarre tourist attractions that travelers can check out on their next road trip. What are yours?

1 The American Sign Museum Cincinnati, Ohio

Wander through the largest public museum dedicated to signs in the US, with displays celebrating more than 100 years of American sign history. The Cincinnati museum covers 20000 square feet of exhibits, from preelectric signs adorned in gold leaf through the earliest electric signs to Art Deco neon and modern plastic faced signs. Among the various displays is a room filled with local Cincinnati signs including a Mall Pouch barn sign.

2 Knight’s Spider Web Farm , Vermont

The late Will Knight started this unusual Williamstown attraction in 1977. A maker of collectibles and fine wooden ware , Knight noticed he had an abundance of spiders on his farm and that each spider wove its own, individual web design, so he harvested the webs to produce art displays, each of which is unique to the particular web design. In 2016 the barn housing the workshop and gift shop was destroyed by fire, but Will s family replaced the building and it is once again welcoming visitors.

3 Enchanted Highway , North Dakota

A 32-mile stretch of road between Gladstone and Regent in western North Dakota, the highway features six huge roadside scrap metal sculptures including Geese in Flight. The works were created by hotel owner and sculptor Gary Greff. Other artworks depict deer , pheasants, grasshoppers, former US president Teddy Roosevelt and even a tin family.

4 Jolly Green Giant Statue and Museum, Minnesota

For the past 40 years, the 55-foot-high Jolly Green Giant statue has towered over Highway 169 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. It was built to highlight the internationally recognized advertising icon that appears on cans of peas and corn produced at the town s canning plant . A museum was added in 2009 to display historic Green Giant memorabilia.

5 Carhenge , Alliance, Nebraska

Artist Jim Reinders created his automobile replica of Stonehenge using 39 vintage American cars painted grey to mimic the ancient monument. Dedicated on the summer solstice in 1987, it has since been joined by a Car Art Reserve featuring other sculptures including a spawning salmon and another car creation called Ford Seasons. Carhenge, near the city of Alliance, is free and attracts over 60000 visitors each year.

As you see are many interested places and America is amazing. Someday I hope to go to visit all these wonderful places.
