Accommodation you can find in Bucharest
Bucharest is the city with the most visitors in Romania, whether they are on vacation or on business trips, so the accommodation offered in the city is extremely varied and suitable for anyone's pocket. There are accommodation spaces starting with hostels to luxury apartments in 5* exclusive hotels.
In today’s article I am sharing a review of some of them, locations where you will find offers for all pockets.
Starting with the offer of accommodation for the most modest budget, there are several central or ultracentral hostels at unbeatable prices. Clean, intimate, often ultra-central are an option for the young without high demands, with prices ranging from 60 to 100 ron for private rooms and 30 ron in a common bedroom
- Butterfly Villa hostel – with prices starting from 45 RON. It is located in a central area being very close to important tourist objectives in Bucharest: the People’s House, Cismigiu Park and others.
- Hostel at Casa – with the price of 100 ron per night
- Antique Hostel Bucharest,
- Puzzle Hostel Bucharest,
- The Cozyness Downtown hostel,
- First Hostel Bucharest,
- Hostel Bucharest.
If we are talking about apartments in the center of Bucharest, the offer is very high and on the Airbnb website, the price starts from 100 ron / night and can reach up to 800 ron / night depending on the location and facilities. Increasingly popular, this platform combines a good price with the facilities of hotels with many stars.
I would not recommend the two-star hotels in Bucharest, even though there are a few that are worth the money. Among them are:
- Hotel Domino – with the price of 100 ron per night – is located in the area of the Progress Market, near City Mall and the Parliament Palace
- Hello Hotel ** – located just three minutes from the North Train Station.
- Sir Orhideea Hotel – located near the Basarab bridge, in an extremely quiet but central area of the Capital, offering quick access to the main public transport means, being close to the Grozavesti and Politehnica metro stations, but also to important centers of Bucharest: Carrefour and Bricostore. For tourists coming by train to the Capital, Sir Orhideea Hotel is the best choice, being the most appreciated hotel near Basarab Train Station.
- At the Central House – located in the former Uranus neighborhood, close to the People’s House.
The 2 * hotels are suitable for those in transit who want to rest until leaving for the next detention.
3 * and 4 * hotels in Bucharest
The most promising offer comes from the same category of hotels with a natural majority towards 3 * hotels. It includes the most diverse offers: rooms for both those who just want to have a place to stay during a stop but also for the pretentious who want their extra-services. Among the best three and four star hotels in Bucharest we can list:
- Mon Caprice Hotel – “the place where all the whims are satisfied to the smallest detail” according to their slogan – the price is100 ron per night
- La Casa Hotel – is located in the north of the city, near the North Railway Station, with quick access to the center and to the important tourist attractions
- Hotel Ibis Palace of the Parliament – very sought after
- West Plaza Hotel – in the Western part of Bucharest, between the two big malls Plaza Romania and AFI Cotroceni, near the amusement park – Terra Park, but also very close to the center.
- Ibis Gara de Nord – preferred by those in transit
- Novotel 4 * Hotel – where the National Theater used to be. Downtown. Favorite of tourists from Israel.
- Minerva Hotel 4 * – is located in the heart of Bucharest at a few minutes distance from the most important attractions
- Hotel Europa Royale 4 * – is located in the heart of Bucharest’s cultural life, at the entrance to the Historical Bucharest, opposite the Manuc and very close to the means of transport near Unirii Square.
- Lido Hotel 4 * – reopened in 2019, a true pearl of Bucharest hotels
The offer is much larger and you can find everything you want both as facilities and price.
